Over and Out
This final closing message is slightly overdue. I’ve finished my studies, graduated, and have already moved on to another university for my fourth year – so it’s time to pass the baton on.
I was a part of The Phantom for the whole three years I was at Derby, my final year as the Head. I stepped into the role hoping to be part of the team that brought life into Phantom Media as a whole, to be a platform for excitement and joy; to show off the media that us, as students, can create.
The team has always been small, but dedicated and reliable. I know I would not have been able to turn The Phantom into what it is now without those people along the way. The editors, the artists, writers and friends.
I have enjoyed every moment of working within Phantom and the great thing about Phantom is that it is there to become what you make of it. It doesn’t have any limitations – it comes down to you and how you do it. It’s something to be appreciated.
I could say a lot about the people I met, the things I accomplished and how proud I am of what I achieved this year: firstly, I want to keep this short, but secondly, I don’t need to. If you read Phantom, watch Phantom, listen to Phantom, you’ll see what I mean.
Over to you Bekah, show us what you’ve got!
As for everyone else,
- Head of The Phantom 18/19
