You may have noticed from our Facebook, that last year two dedicated Phantom members got some pretty special tattoos. So we thought it only right to do an article on such a subject!
You never fail to find people who try to persuade you NOT to get a tattoo. Well, twenty-one tattoos later, I say do it!
Why should anyone think you’d regret it? Your body your rules, right? For me, each tattoo holds a memory. Whether it’s a favourite book or a person (be careful about name tats though, don’t recommend), if you want to hold that memory dear, then why not.
“It’ll look disgusting when you’re old!” they say. But let’s be honest, wrinkly skin doesn’t look great either way, so you may as well make it your own.
You know that saying: pictures say a thousand words? Well that stands true for tattoos too. If you’re all about self expressionism, tattoos are a bold statement. They can show off your appreciation and passions to whomever you choose, in the blink of an eye. Not to mention they’re also a great conversation starter if you ever want to pick up the inked goddess across the bar, especially if you have your own too.
Tattoos can also be a great way to cover things up. Be it a birthmark, a scar, or even an older, worse tattoo. They can make something beautiful, whether there’s meaning behind it or not. It could just be something you really love, like an epic flower design or a delicate bee. The great thing about tattoos are that the possibilities are endless. They can be exactly as you want and show exactly what you mean.
So get out there and don’t be shy! Just make sure you go to a safe and sanitary place with some hard working artists and I’m sure you won’t go wrong.
