VARSITY VARSITY VARSITY!

Wednesday, 13th April 2016 saw many students leave the comfort of their sofas, the safety of their Netflix bubbles and the stress of university work for the excitement of Varsity. Team spirit was available by the bucket load, the sun came out to shine down upon us all and the smiles and #blorange was seen from miles around.

If you could capture the excitement that day and bottle it, well…frankly, I’d make a small fortune. It was a fantastic day, Phantom Radio was on hand in the Sports Centre to broadcast and it was just a generally brilliant day.

Sadly, we lost by one measly point to Northampton – but of course there’s always next year! Go Team Derby!
