Graduation


The week has arrived when thousands of Derby University students will be donning their cap and gown, ready to graduate from the University in their respective courses of study. There will be six ceremonies held across three days (Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th), with both Undergrad and Post-grad students receiving their degrees.
For anyone attending morning ceremonies, doors will be opening at Derby Arena at 8.15 am and at 1.15 pm for the afternoon ceremonies . The events will be underway from 11 am-12.30 pm in the morning and from 3 pm-4 pm in the afternoon.

Also, this Friday (15th January) the Winter Wonderland Ball will be held at the Academy Bar on the Kedleston Road Campus, 9pm. Tickets can be bought online at the same time as the ceremony tickets and will cost £17.50 each. Students are restricted to two tickets and the event is 18+ so don’t forget to bring your ID.
Thomas Jules, vocalist for Rudimental, will be performing on the night as well. Not only is he the vocalist for the massive Drum and Bass group, but Jules has performed with many top name artists, from Ed Sheeran to Professor Green. So, make sure you it your tickets in time, they’re sure to sell out fast!
